Origin: Cat Tien National Park, Vietnam.

Adaptation: arboreal

Humidity: 60%

Temperatures: 20-28° Celsius

Encloser: 30x30x45cm for a couple.

Light/heating: light is not needed.

Water: not needed, moist wil come from their food. For eggs to hatch put them on moist toilet paper but be carefull for mold as that can kill the nimph.

Life span: after hatching , 7 months.

Growth rate: egg stage about 4 months 3 weeks to adult.

Adult size: male 7cm, females  8cm

Adult colour: brown , dorsal brown with yellow and green stripes and turquoise legs with dark stripes.

Food: leaves of Bay laurel (Laurus nobilis), Salix sp., Bramble (Rubus spp.), Privet (Ligustrum spp.)

(Don’t get it from a garden shop or florist as those often are sprayed with pesticides and preservatives )
